Hi there!

My name is Jaideep Godara; I am an Interaction and User Experience Designer with a passion for all things design, whether it is architecture, industrial design, or software design. Currently, I am a Senior User Experience Designer with SAP Labs in Palo Alto, California, where I have been working on experience design of enterprise applications in GRC, Sustainability, and On-Demand areas. My typical day is spent on either identifying the problems and areas to improve in a product or working out ways to solve these challenges. It is the best profession if one has curiosity and desire to learn all the time…seriously!

And, why is design oh-so-amazing?
It is because design is unique in the sense that it provides value in both the end result as well in the process itself. Design as a process is, I believe, even more important than design as an output. Also, it is this 'Design as Process' attribute that gives the design profession its best quality: variety of challenges. So even when contexts, tools and media might change from one field to another, the core principles and techniques of design still work. For example, over my career, I have been part of a wide range of consulting, in-house, and research projects in assorted fields like healthcare, finance, asset management, insurance, sustainability, and consumer software applications. And, the contribution of design was undeniably critical to successes of all those projects.
